Firstshowing.net has posted the trailer to the new Wahlberg starrer “The Happening.” The trailer doesn’t give much away, but definitely has my attention. Although I’ll be honest, the only Shyamalan film I really liked was Unbreakable. The Sixth Sense was great, but I didn’t like it as much after that first viewing. There was so much hype around him (i.e. Newsweek covers calling him the next Steven Spielberg) that I really need him to go above and beyond. Who knows, maybe its this one.
The film is set to open June 13th and also stars Zooey Deschanel and John Leguizamo.
