The Stone Temple Pilots out-of-left-field reunion tour seems to be picking up steam aSTP Bandnd has recently posted a few additional dates, with more slated to come.

May 17 – Columbus, OH – Crew Stadium
May 18 – Camden, NJ – Susquehanna Bank Center
May 23 – Indianapolis, IN – Indianapolis Motor Speedway
May 31 – Holmdel, NJ – PNC Garden State Amphitheatre
June 1 – Mansfield, MA – Tweeter Center
June 7 – Kansas City, MO – [to be announced]
July 12 – Toronto, ON – Downsview Park

  1. They have one great album, called ‘Tiny Music: Song From The Vatican Gift Shop’. I don’t like the band, or any other material they have done. However, that album is incredible and is extremely underrated.

  2. See, I love their first three albums (personally, I think Purple is their best, but I do love the mellow, 70s vibe of Tiny Music…). I think No. 4 was kind of blah (I only really care for Down and Atlanta on that one) and never bothered to pick up Shangri-La. But all that being said, this reunion has me pumped. I think Velvet Revolver sounds like a watered down version of GnR and STP, so to get STP back is huge for me.
