Nintendo Denies DS Redesign

nintendo-ds-lite.jpgNintendo apparently is denying the rumors sparked by Enterbrain president Hirokazu Hamamura on a potential Nintendo DS redesign showing up at E3 in July.

It’s been two years since the redesign into DS Lite (which pretty much sold the system to me), so it may be time for a product update. Nintendo is notorious for changing their handhelds (Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP) to improved products, however, the DS Lite has been working extremely well, so why change a good thing?

I’d say the only things that could use some improvement would be the hardware to compete with the 333mhz goodness of the PSP, but, I won’t hold my breath.
