Myspace and MSNBC Partner for Streaming Content

Instead of going with its parent company’s news network, Fox News, Myspace has gone with MSNBC as its content partner.

Myspace will be streaming MSNBC through its site, as well as hosting a mini-site about the 2008 Presidential election.

Personalities Brian Williams, Tim Russert, and Chris Matthews have myspace profiles, where they will be posting videos, personal profiles, and other popular “myspace” habits like favorite songs.

It’s interesting to see them tying with NBC Universal, though, this wouldn’t be the first time. The new groups partnered on one of my current favorite sites, hulu.com. Also, young, impressionable teens who use Myspace would likely be attracted to NBC content before the right-winged content found on Fox News.
