Universal Studios and Vatche’s childhood suffered a devastating blow on Sunday as fire damaged part of the studio back lot. The fire broke out around 4:45am.  There were reports that filming may have been going on at the time of the fire’s start.

Damaged in the blaze were a King Kong exhibit, a video library vault and, most upsetting for Vatche, the courthouse square set, most notable used in ‘Back to the Future.’

The cause of the fire is unknown.  Vatche has already started the ‘save the clock tower’ campaign.  Donate early.  -Sam

  1. I’m actually extremely devastated, I’ll post a Paypal account for donations for my therapy sessions, and to save the clock tower of course.
