Despite my disappointment with Spider-Man 3, the idea of Sam Raimi still taking the reigns of a fourth still excites me. Raimi told Dark Horizons that James Vanderbilt is writing the script, and that he hopes Sony would still want him to do it.
Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst are unlikely to return to the film, and honestly, I’m fairly surprised Raimi wants to as well. He’s lived and breathed nothing but Spider-Man from 2002 till 2007, but, one can’t argue with love.
