Sam Raimi Planning Fourth Evil Dead Film

ComicCon saw Sam Raimi reveal that a fourth Evil Dead is on its way. While speaking about his new horror film, ‘Drag Me to Hell,’ the director told the audience he’d love to do a new ‘Evil Dead’ film with lead Bruce Campbell.

“I love working with Bruce Campbell, he’s like Allison [Lohman, lead in ‘Drag Me To Hell]. He’s super willing to do anything to make it right….I would love to work with Bruce again because I’d love to test those limits. I’d love to make another Evil Dead picture. And actually that’s in the wheelhouse. I’d like to work on it with my brother Ivan when he comes up next week.”

So there you have it, the intent is there, lets see if Raimi follows through. The last Evil Dead film, Army of Darkness, came out in 1992.

  1. I probably wouldn’t kill until this became a bit more substantiated. I’m not holding my breath for this. Evil Dead 4 has been bandied about for so long that I think it’s just one of those things you have to talk about at Comic-Con. Evil Dead 4 was at one point not going to star Ash. At another point it was going to be Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash. And Raimi has been spinning this web, too. So no killing for it yet.
