Disney Eyes ‘Tomorrowland’

Refusing to see that the Pirates of the Caribbean films was a fluke success, Disney is developing a space movie inspired by the Tomorrowland part of their theme park.

The epic will be written by scribes Jon Lucas and Scott Moore. The film is being designed as a vehicle for Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The company denies that the film is called Tomorrowland, or has anything to do with the theme park (which to me would be more interesting, if I HAD to make a movie based on Tomorrowland, I’d just base it on the part of the park, rather then make a space movie).

Personally, I think this film will be more along the lines of Eddie Murphy’s ‘Haunted Mansion.” I guess we’ll just wait and see.
