Jude Law has been cast in the new Guy Ritchie/Robert Downey Jr. adaptation of ‘Sherlock Holmes.’
The actor is currently finalizing deals to play the famous sidekick Dr. Watson in the new version of the classic Sir Arthur Conan Doyle classic novel.
The part of Watson was first rumored to be played by Russell Crowe, who quickly denied the report. Ritchie is being inspired not only by the classic novels, but Lionel Wigram’s comic book series, which features much more action then the original books.
