Variety is reporting that Oliver Stone and Shia LaBeouf has signed on to join Michael Douglas in “Wall Street 2.”
The script was originally witten a couple of years ago by Stephen Schiff, but things didn’t work out. Alan Loeb has done a re-write on the script and now things look like they’re moving forward.
The story involved Gordon Gekko getting out of prison and mentoring a young LaBeouf, in exchange for spending time with his estranged daughter.
Can’t say I’m looking forward to this, but who knows, Oliver Stone has surprised me before.
