Is it just me, or does this look good?
I used to be a fan of Guy Ritchie, loving both “Lock, Stock,” and “Snatch,” but felt he kind of lost the plot with “Swept Away,” and “Revolver.” I haven’t even bothered seeing “Rocknrolla,” but I’m sure I will at some point. So the idea of letting Ritchie tackle the Sherlock Holmes series scared me.
But then the cast was named. Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law, Rachel McAdams. I mean, no matter what movie you’re making, that’s a pretty good cast. And now here’s the trailer. And it looks good. There are a few moments that have me worried, but that could just be how the trailer is cut. Overall, it looks really good. Like ‘movie I’d want to see in a theater’ good. Who knew?

Revolver definitely was one of the most difficult movies I’ve tried to watch in recent memory, but I agree, this does look very entertaining. Hopefully it has the mix of comedy/action that is in the trailer, certainly Sherlock for a new generation!
