Charlize of Arabia?

Charlize Theron’s production company Denver & Deliah has acquired the rights to Christopher Buckley’s novel “Florence of Arabia,” for her to star in.

Buckley also wrote the book, “Thank You For Smoking,” which was turned into a hit film by Jason Reitman.  His novel, “Little Green Men,” is reportedly being adapted by Whit Stilman.

“Florence,” is about a woman who tries to bring equal rights to the Middle Eastern country of Matar where her friend was executed by an aristocratic husband.  No director has signed on, but Dean Craig, who wrote “Death at a Funeral,” has been hired to write the script.
