“Bond 23” To Begin Shooting Late 2010

Signing autographs outside the theater where he was appearing on Broadway in “A Steady Rain,” James Bond star Daniel Craig said that shooting on Bond film #23 would begin last 2010.  Following the schedule set by previous Bond films, that means the movie will be released in fall/winter 2011.  Producer Michael G. Wilson had previously announced that work on the script has begun earlier this year.

In other Bond news, actor Joseph Wiseman, best known for playing Dr. No in the first Bond film… um, “Dr. No,” died last week.  He appeared in only two scenes, but Wiseman’s portrayal of a Bond villain set the mold that all others have followed.  Wiseman will be missed.
