The Independent Film Festival of Boston kicked off with a bang this evening with the East Coast premiere of Brad Anderson’s ‘Transsiberian,’ a thriller set during a journey between China and Moscow.

The Independent Film Festival of Boston kicked off this evening without a hitch (other then starting a bit late, but understandable, some planes need a bit of extra runway just to get off the ground). With 98 films, the organizers are calling this festival the best yet.
‘Twelve’ is a unique film appearing at the IFF Boston. Conceived by Scott Masterson who, along with Steve Oare, produced the film as well, ‘Twelve’ is actually a series of 12 short films, each short taking place in a specific month of the calendar year.
