Winning an Oscar or two seems to go along way in getting Hollywood to finally trust you. The Coen brothers’ next film, ‘Burn After Reading,’ will receive a wider release than originally planned. The upcoming film, starring Brad Pitt, John Malkovich, Frances McDormand, Tilda Swinton and George Clooney, is a dark comedy about the memoirs of a CIA official that accidentally falls into the hands of a gym employee. The Coens have noted that this film will complete their loose “Idiot Trilogy,” the three films starring Clooney (the other two being ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou?’ and ‘Intolerable Cruelty’).’
Burn After Reading’ is scheduled for release on September 12.
