And the digital revolution continues. Lionsgate has inked a deal with Apple to allow for its films to be digitally copied onto iPods through Apple’s iTunes. The studio’s first release with this new capability will be the upcoming ‘Rambo 4.,’ slated to hit shelves at the end of May. Lionsgate is the second studio to make this move, following Fox, who has released ‘Live Free or Die Hard’ last year and ‘Family Guy: Blue Harvest’ this year. These moves are believed to be part of an effort by studios to curb piracy.
