I think I’m going to bang out a graphic novel soon just to have the rights to it bought up. Sam Raimi and Paramount have just obtained the rights to make an adaptation of the graphic novel, ‘Monster Zoo.’ ‘Zoo’ is a story about a boy who finds that his local zoo holds more than just your standard fare of animals and that those other things are, in fact, terrifying creatures. ‘Monster Zoo’ was written by Douglas Tennapel (creator of Earthworm Jim) and will be released by Image Comics. That’s right. The comic isn’t even out yet and it’s already been optioned. So far Raimi is only slated to produce the film.
