‘The Love Guru’ proved that Mike Myers may have lost his mojo once again, grossing $14 million from 3,012 theaters. ‘Get Smart,’ despite similar poor buzz won the weekend with a $39.1 million dollar gross to take teh top spot.
Kung Fu Panda’s drop was very small in comparison to other films, falling only 35% to a $21.7 million take, showing its word of mouth legs. ‘Incredible Hulk’ fell 61% since its opening weekend to a cume of $21.5 million.
And once again, the box office is up from last year, this time 5%.
