Oscar-winner Diablo Cody has been picked to write a new untitled comedy from an idea by Spielberg. The details are under wraps, and no producers have been attached. But this will be Spielberg’s second collaboration with writer. Cody wrote the pilot to a “The United States of Tara” a Showtime series Spielberg is Executive Producing.
Cody first came to Spielberg’s attention when Mandate Pictures was looking for a domestic distributor for “Juno.” Spielberg even thought about directing the film.
