Controversial “docutainment” director Michael Moore’s latest film ‘Slacker Uprising’ is being released online and for free via Brave New Films, a company founded by liberal activist and filmmaker Robert Greenwald.
The film tells the story of Moore’s 62-city tour during the 2004 presidential campaign. It’s also the first major film to be provided online at non charge.
The film premieres in a more traditional fashion at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor. Like the online release, the premiere will be free of charge, and first come, first served.
