Adam Sandler is being sued by comic book author Robert Cabell for stealing the idea for Sandler’s last comedy, ‘You Don’t Mess with The Zohan.’ The infrigement suit names Sandler and his fellow Happy Madison Productions suits, Sony, and Columbia Pictures.
Apparently, Cabell cites Zohan (an Israeli special forces officer who becomes a hair dresser) as a direct rip off of his own comic ‘Hair-Raising Adventures of Jayms Blonde,’ telling the story of a guy who fights bad guys with a blow dryer. (sign me up for this one)
Cabell told NY Daily News that he first pitched the idea to Columbia execs back in 2007.
