I feel like I’m shaking my head in anger quite a bit more these days. But this one takes the cake. A few months back we wrote about Aaron Sorkin writing a movie about Facebook. Well, that project has a director, David Fincher.
The film, ‘The Social Network,’ is being produced by Scott Rudin, and is set to begin shooting later this year. I imagine the film will chronicle the creation of Facebook at Harvard to Present Day. One might beg the question, why? I suppose its an interesting story, but, is it too current a phenomenon to garner a big screen rendition? Sorta like W, this could be a bit too early.
Though, Sorkin is a great writer, and Fincher a great director. Do you think there will be an epic moment when Zuckerberg thinks of coming up with “poking” people in the profiles?
