Gary Ross, director of Seabiscuit and Pleasantville is doing re-writes on the script for Spider-Man 4.
The script was originally written by James Vanderbilt, and soon rewritten by David Lindsay-Abaire. The project will go into production early next year for a May 2011 release.
Personally, I think Spider-Man 3 was completely off the rails, and I’m sort of indifferent about this one. Here’s hoping Ross has what it takes to craft a good picture.
