IFFBoston 2013 Lineup Announced!

The full lineup of the Independent Film Festival of Boston 2013 has been announced! This year is the 11th year of the Festival, and takes place from April 24 – April 30, 2013. The festival will be screening 99 films and as always feature amazing Q&A sessions, panel discussions, visiting filmmakers and more! It’s my favorite time of year in Boston, not to mention my favorite film festival.

Venues for the festival are the Somerville Theatre in Davis Square, the Brattle Theatre in Harvard Square, the Coolidge Corner Theatre in Brookline, and new venues UMass Boston, and Theatre 1 in Boston.

IFFBostonThe opening night film is “The Spectacular Now,” directed by James Ponsoldt, who will be in attendance opening night. The closing night film is, “In A World…” written, directed, and starring Lake Bell.

Other films screening at the festival include the world premieres of “Willow Creek,” directed by Bobcat Goldthwait, “Best Kept Secret,” directed by Samantha Buck, “Secundaria,” directed by Mary Jane Doherty, and “The Elders,” directed by Nathaniel Hansen. Bobcat Goldthwait, Samantha Buck, Mary Jane Doherty, and Nathaniel Hansen all will be in attendance. Keep a lookout on Lonelyreviewer.com as we will keep a list of confirmed attending filmmakers.
