John Woo will be directing an adaptation of the comic book “Caliber.” The film, a co-production of Johnny Depp’s Infinitum Nihil, Barry Levine’s Radical Comics, and Lion Rock, Woo and Terence Chang’s US production company.
The comic book sets King Arthur and his knights as gunslingers in the west.
Though, this film probably won’t be his next, he previously announced “1949,” a period romance film set during the Chinese Revolution. “The Sicilian Clan,” a remake of a 1969 crime drama, and “The Divide,” the story of a Chinese rail-worker in the US.
