The talk of the town (or internets?) has been Quentin Tarantino’s new WWII film, ‘Inglorious Bastards,’ and everyone wants to be a part of it, including Universal.
Universal is in negotiations with the Weinstein Co. to help bring the movie to theaters. Tarantino and Harvey Weinstein met with five different studios last week about co-financing, and apparently its between Paramount.
It was reported that Brad Pitt recently met with Tarantino to play the character of Aldo Raine, though, no deal has been made yet.
Shooting is on schedule to begin in the Fall in Germany and France.
