And here comes the onslaught of awards… The 29th annual Razzie award nominees have been announced. The Razzies highlight the worst in cinema for the past year. Thankfully I havent’ seen much of the nominees so I can’t really comment on their qualities (or lack thereof.)
Fun fact: director Paul Verhoeven was the first person to show up at the Razzie ceremony to accept his award for worst director for ‘Showgirls.’

Sam did you see Speed Racer? I definitely don’t think its “worst” movie material!
I did see ‘Speed Racer.’ And while it’s confused, muddled and a bit of a sensory-overload experience, I definitely wouldn’t call it one of the worst movies of the year.
maybe it was my mood, but I was definitely extremely entertained, despite the fact that it was definitely a little muddled, overall, it wasn’t terrible.
