2009 Razzie Nominees Announced

And here comes the onslaught of awards… The 29th annual Razzie award nominees have been announced.  The Razzies highlight the worst in cinema for the past year.  Thankfully I havent’ seen much of the nominees so I can’t really comment on their qualities (or lack thereof.)

Fun  fact: director Paul Verhoeven was the first person to show up at the Razzie ceremony to accept his award for worst director for ‘Showgirls.’

  1. I did see ‘Speed Racer.’ And while it’s confused, muddled and a bit of a sensory-overload experience, I definitely wouldn’t call it one of the worst movies of the year.

  2. maybe it was my mood, but I was definitely extremely entertained, despite the fact that it was definitely a little muddled, overall, it wasn’t terrible.
