Remember like, five days ago, when we reported that the “Green Hornet” movie was slowly dying? Not so fast says star and co-writer Seth Rogen.
Rogen tells HitFix that Stephen Chow may have left the director’s seat, but he has not left the movie and will still play Kato. Here’s what Rogen told HitFix:
“‘The Green Hornet’ has many people working for it, including production designers, costume designers and many conceptual artists, office staff, etc.,” he said during our e-mail exchange back and forth. “[The studio heads] have every intention on making it, and assuming we’re able to hire a new director in the upcoming weeks, which seems like a distinct possibilty, it should still hit the release date.”
This is good news, since this is one movie I’ve been looking forward to. We’ll keep you up-to-date on the latest comings and goings on this project. -Sam
It will always be “dead” if Rogen insists on making the film a comedy?
Fans are not interested in that take and that is why no one is behind this project.
