Promoting his new TV show, director McG says he has already found his Captain Nemo for his “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea,” remake. And he’s already worked with him once already. Sam Worthington, (besides starring in “Terminator: Salvation,”) has also worked with James Cameron in “Avatar,” and he’s also in the upcoming “Clash of the Titans,” remake.
“Look out for ‘Clash of the Titans,”” says McG, “because “Clash” is going to be really good – I’ve seen some of that. Now he’s doing The Tourist with Charlize [Theron]. He’s all over the place, and I might cast him as Nemo if it’s in the cards. We’ll see.”
No word on when “Leagues” will start shooting. Last we heard, it was supposed to begin later this year in Ausralia.
