I had the chance to ask the filmmakers behind ICE HOCKEY a few questions following their Thursday night screening at IFFBoston. Director Larry Cohen and Producer Tim Whitney offer a little insight on how they cast Ken Daneyko, and speak a little bit about what their next project is.
ICE HOCKEY follows a day in the life of Danny, a high school hockey defenseman. School, girls, and his next-door neighbor: hockey legend Ken Daneyko. A film with a cast of non-actors, shot on location in New Jersey — and starring a high school Hockey Team, and NJ Devil Alumni Randy Velischek and Devil Ken Daneyko. The film screens a second time at the Somerville Theater on Monday. Buy Tickets Here
