You’d be hard pressed to find someone who doesn’t love Chinese food, but have you ever wondered just how/when Chinese food got so Americanized?
THE SEARCH FOR GENERAL TSO, which had its premiere at Tribeca, seeks to trace the origin of America’s most popular takeout meal, General Tso’s Chicken. Directed by Ian Cheney the film travels through cities across America and beyond, seeking to understand the origin of the dish, and perhaps answer who was General Tso.
The film screens at IFFBoston Friday, April 25, at 7:15pm at the Somerville Theatre. Buy Tickets here.
