Review: Duplicity

Ray Koval and Claire Steinwick are industrial spies.  But they’re spying for different companies.  But they knew each other before.  In fact, they spent a romantic weekend in Rome once.  Not that Claire will admit it.  Ray sees her walking through Grand Central Station in New York and follows her to a bar.  He …

“Bruno” Trailer Released

Sacha Baron Cohen’s latest assault on the unsuspecting is coming this summer.  30 minutes were screened at the SXSW Film Festival and the reports coming out of there said it is funnier than “Borat.”  (Which was, in my opinion, pretty damn funny.) Well, the trailer for his latest film, “Bruno,” has been released at MySpace’s …

I guess you could have guessed that this day would come.  A DVD quality workprint of the upcoming Hugh Jackman summer movie “Wolverine,” has leaked on-line at various torrent sites. Scorsese Teaser Released

The teaser poster for Martin Scorsese’s new movie has been released.  Based on the Denis Lehane book, “Shutter Island,” that was the original title.  And then it was given the ambigious title, “Ashcliffe.”  And now, apparently, it’s back to the original “Shutter Island.”  Either way, the combination of Scorsese and Lehane has me quite excited.

“Mysteries of Pittsburgh” Trailer Released

The trailer for the new Sienna Miller movie has been released.  (There’s a sentence that I never thought I’d write.) The movie, “The Mysteries of Pittsburgh,” is based on the Michael Chabon book, which is a coming-of-age story set in the early 1980’s in the popular Pennsylvania city.  It also stars Peter Skarsgard, Mena Suvari …

Hanks Takes on Matt Mason

Tom Hanks is heading back to space for Universal’s film version of a popular 1960s toy. Major Matt Mason’s story was that he was an astronaut who worked on the moon and lived in a space station.  The toy was a huge hit during the space race in the 1960s, leading up to the moon …

“Angels & Demons” Poster Released

Sony Pictures released the final poster for the new Tom Hanks/Ron Howard movie, “Angels & Demons.”  The movie is a follow-up to “The DaVinci Code.”  Sure that movie was under-whelming, and this poster is also under-whelming, but I’m still kinda intrigued by this one.  Check it out:
